Kumustahan（クムスタハン、近況報告会）を開催しました

 東京農業大学校友会フィリピン支部は、2025年3月11日（火）18:00〜21:00にハイブリッド形式のKumustahan（クムスタハン、近況報告会）を開催しました。対面・オンライン合わせて計24名が参加しました。
 対面でのミーティングはフィリピン大学ロスバニョス校（UPLB）のOrnamental Crops Nursery（園芸研究施設）で開催、Zoomによるミーティングも同時に行いました。オンラインでは、フランスさん、モイさん、ザラさん、ニカさん、そしてピアドゾ教授が参加しました。対面で参加くださった方々はサンチェス教授、メディナ准教授、ナバロ准教授、フェリックス准教授、下口准教授、マルセロさん、アキノ助教、モラ助教、ベラスコ助教、オデジャールさん、メディナ助教など。
 サンチェス教授が司会進行を務め、参加した皆さんに歓迎の挨拶を述べた後、参加者それぞれから自己紹介が行われました。交換留学生としてUPLBに在籍中の東京農大生（国際農業開発学科の2名）も参加し、自己紹介や交流を行いました。さらに、4月から交換留学生として東京農大大学院に進学する予定のアーロンさんも紹介されました。
 皆さんは、日本での留学経験や現在の専門分野などについて楽しく語り合いました。次回のイベントも楽しみにしています。

【フィリピン支部副支部長 下口ニナ（東京農大アグリビジネス学科教授）】

The Tokyo NODAI Alumni from the Philippines conducted a hybrid kumustahan on March 11, 2025. The physical venue was at the Ornamental Crops Nursery, UPLB, and the zoom meeting was also created. There were technical difficulties with participants having trouble communicating clearly. For the online participants, France, Moi, Zarah, Nica, and Dr. Eden Piadozo were present.

Dr. Sanchez facilitated the activity by welcoming everyone and asking each for a jikoshoukai. Introductions from multiple alumni and current exchange students of the Tokyo Nodai were made. After the introductions from the online participants, physically present alums such as Dr. Sammy Medina, Dr. Ning Felix, Dr. Dindo Sanchez, Dr. Nina Nocon-Shimoguchi, Andrew Garcia, Mark Idol Marcelo, Dr. Eliza Aquino, Jennica Amielle M. Mora, Dr. Dia Noelle F. Velasco, Fredrick Odejar, Dr. Norma Medina, and Dr. Baby Richard Navarro briefly shared their experiences studying in Japan and their current professional roles. The alums warmly welcomed the two Japanese exchange students from Kaihatsu and reassured them that there are lots of alums around if they need anything. In addition, the incoming exchange student from the Philippines, Aaron, was also introduced.

After the jikoshoukai, the group took several photos, and everyone ate happily while updating each other (kumustahan).
